The cell-based non-invasive prenatal test (CB-NIPT) only needs to collect the mother’s blood and extract traces of fetal embryonic tissue cells and nucleated red blood cells for testing. In this experiment, 30 ml of maternal blood was taken, enriched, stained, and placed on a MagnetPick™ microscope slide. Then, ALS CellCelector™ was used to scan and analyze the cells, and then software was used to identify potential fetal cells based on morphology and staining. Since there are very few fetal cells circulating in the maternal blood, it is not easy to find fetal cells from them. In this paper report, the experimenter used the ALS CellCelector™ of Mitek to easily separate rare fetal cells from the pre-processed blood sample. This machine can not only greatly improve the efficiency of the entire operation process, but also has high accuracy. During the process, cells can be collected gently without harming precious fetal cells. It is believed that as the development of non-invasive testing gradually matures, replacing invasive testing with cbNIPT universally are just around the corner.
