ALS Cellcelector successfully discovered specific tumor suppressor extracellular vesicles !!!

Traditional approaches to study EVs in extracellular vesicles focus on obtaining and analyzing EVs from large numbers of cells rather than analyzing specific EVs. Both 4T1 and 67NR are mouse mammary tumor cells, but have completely different metastatic abilities. 4T1 can spontaneously metastasize to multiple sites, while 67NR cannot. The researchers used ALS cellcelectors and nanowells to classify the intensity of EVs secreted by individual cells based on their fluorescence properties and target specific targets for automated picking and analysis.

Observing the interrelation of integrated EV secretion with diverse cellular functions through the ALS cellcellector may provide newer and more comprehensive insights into cell and disease biology. This experiment successfully found that the secretion of CD81+CD63+ EVs could block tumor formation, even with higher immune cytolytic activity and increased pro-inflammatory macrophages. EVs have great potential in cancer diagnosis and treatment! The ALS cellcelector is also a major contributor to high-throughput cell screening and selection!
