The On-chip SPiS is a single particle isolation system that allows for automated and gentle deposition of single cells (or specified number of cells) into wells of 96 or 384 well microtiter plate. It ensures single cell deposition using specialized disposable pipette tip and image recognition technology, while keeping the cells more viable than many of the traditional cell plating method using FACS. This bench-top, stand-alone system can fit inside a biosafety cabinet for aseptic dispensing. Some applications include single cell cloning, monoclonal antibody production, spheroid/organoid culturing, and sample preparation for single cell DNA/RNA sequencing.
